This was a very challenging installation due to this magnificent property being State Heritage Listed so we worked very closely them to make sure that the system did not visually impede on this land mark building.

A very special thank you to Trevor Williams and Steven Dobrilla for putting their minds to it and getting the structural designs right as the existing roof structure needed strengthening and also thanks must be given to Leon Spouse our installer for completing a very professional installation.

The key to the success of this project was using individual solar panel optimisation to lessen the impact of shading on the panels. Because of the number of trees adjacent to the buiIding and being in a high bush fire risk area it was decided that a vertical rail mounting system be used to avoid the build up of leaves and debris under the panels. Peace of mind for our customers is paramount.

Allstate Solar is proud to have delivered a landmark sustainable energy solution for the prestigious David Roche Gallery in North Adelaide, featuring a high-capacity 31kW solar upgrade paired with five Tesla Powerwall 2 units. This sophisticated 67.5kWh storage system provides the museum and gallery with seamless energy independence, ensuring the protection of their world-class art collection. Our commitment to technical excellence on this heritage project was officially recognised when Allstate Solar was named a winner of the 2024 Tesla Installation Excellence Award.

Scotdesco Aboriginal Community Solar Project on the far west boarder

The solar project for the Scotdesco Aboriginal community at Bookabie is a major renewable energy initiative funded by a $452,000 South Australian government grant to provide nearly 100% energy self-sufficiency. Led by CEO Robert Larking in partnership with Allstate Solar, the project installs large-scale solar arrays and battery storage to eliminate reliance on expensive and unreliable grid power. This transition empowers the Far West community through significant cost savings and long-term energy security tailored for their remote location.
